After many month's of planning, work has now started on some high level repairs to our church building. This will include replacement of the cedar wood shingles which cover the three spires, the tall side windows to the gallery and those to the vestry. The opportunity is also being taken to replace the leaking gutters and downspouts as well as renewing the flat roof coverings to the parish office and the choir vestry.
you will see below, we have been fortunate in obtaining grants from
the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency
towards the cost of this ambitious and very necessary work. We are of
course also grateful to those parishioners, and others, who have worked
so hard to raise the rest of the money needed to undertake the project
